This project involved designing an inviting brand identity for Wow Binalot, a Filipino restaurant celebrating traditional cuisine wrapped in dahon ng saging or banana leaves. The logo is emphasizes the simplicity and affordability of their products both the traditional binalot dishes and to modern twists such as silog and burgers while incorporating banana leaf elements to highlight their unique selling proposition. The logo paired with earth, appetizing visuals ensures the brand feels distinctly Filipino appealing to locals who get a kick out of nostalgia as much as curious foreigners. The goal was to design a logo that immediately conveys warmth, tradition, and the irresistible guarantee of a meal that makes you say "Wow!"
KaYouMangi

This project involved creating a warm and inclusive brand identity for KaYouMangi, a makeup line specifically designed to celebrate and complement the beautiful brown skin tones of Filipinos. The logo design embraces simplicity and elegance, using a custom typographic treatment that feels modern yet culturally rooted. The logo reinforces brand memorability while evoking a sense of unity and pride in Filipino beauty. The minimalist approach ensures versatility across packaging, digital platforms, and marketing materials, aligning with the brand’s mission to provide inclusive, flattering cosmetics for every kayumanggi (brown-skinned) individual. The result is a sophisticated yet approachable identity that speaks to empowerment and representation in beauty.

Soft, approachable aesthetics were prioritized to resonate with the student demographic, while the repetition of the brand name and taglines reinforced brand identity.
